I just received that Mistral from VDH. It's another beautiful piece of work. It isn't as shiny as the RAM I bought but it is in perfect condition.

The venturi effect of the Mistral is quite apparent!

I'm going to have a great time with these regs. Thanks for all the info.

This picture of our Captain shows good trim in a vintage diver. He is as horizontal as it gets. Thing is that some modern wing divers actually go a little head down and feet up, this is from cave technique where it is advantageous to keep the fins out of the silt, thus the frog kicks etc. Not relevant to open water diving, vintage or modern, unless your feet are roto-tilling/dog paddling up the bottom.
