Hi there, I'm deciding between those undersuits for diving between 0°C- 7°C (Arctic Ocean). Which one would you recommend?

Cheers,

How long of a dive?

Anything is good for a 30min splash, things get complicated if you want to spend 3hrs in 4* water

I think that 1 hour or 1 an a half.

It really depends on your tolerance and feeling of cold. But I would suggest the bz400 in combination with a passive vest such as the fourth element x-core.

Just tried out the new BZ420 heated a couple weeks ago, it has a little more thickness than the standard bz400 heated, but they're both great cold water undergarments.

Friends are diving the Halo AR and loving it.

Halo AR is much nicer than halo 3d, I have both. I run that with a santi heated vest and gloves. Coldest I’ve been in was 38 and I was not freezing. I’m comfortable in 42 with it for hour long dives

I'll throw my reference points out there.
My Halo 3D is fairly close my BZ200 (heated, but not using the heater).
I hear the Halo AR is much warmer than the Halo 3D.
That would throw the Halo 3D out of your option list as it isn't for waters as cold as you want to use it.
No reference with the waterproof line.

I have seen a BZ400 and it is much more than a Halo 3D or BZ200, more correct for your profile. I would still be looking at a heated version for as cold as you are looking at. Just because you have it doesn't mean you have to use it, or even use it at full power.

¡Muchas gracias por su ayuda! Con sus comentarios y leyendo más, estoy indeciso entre un Weezle Extreme +, un Halo AR y un Santi BZ 420X.
The cheapest is the Weezle extreme +, but I think that is more "men's suiting"?

I told in another thread I do have the BZ400 and I am happy with it. But no comparisson and not yet very cold diving below 6°C.

I would suggest the bZ420X which is a bit more extreme. You may then optionally use a santi heated vest, and with a regular battery you can use it for maybe 2 complete dives of your duration.
Heat vest means it would b optional and you heat underneath your main insulation, i.e. more effective. Then you can optionally choose heated gloves on top, which may for your kind of work be a good option.

Important is a good base layer which transports moisture from your body and a good middle layer made from Merino wool or similar.

I also suggest the santi primaloft socks. With sime baselayer socks I did not even notice I am in cold water at all.

Plus for the Santi: with no extra cost they adjust some of the measures and put your name on it.
