RiverRat:
Stay tuned.....Next week UP is going to dive a HUB and report back :eyebrow:
I am not sure even UP's dive skills are enough to come back alive from being suited up in a boa-constrictor like mess of hoses all over him - i will wait for the accidents and incidents report.....

CBulla:
Do you have something against this type of rig? I could be wrong (no where near as often as H2Andy though) but I believe he dives with both styles. For that matter quite a few folks do... whats your beef?

I'd like to say "Gosh, don't you realize I'm being both ironic and sarcatic at the same time?" That's what UP said about his post.

But to say that wouldn't exactly be true. When I read the original post it seemed he was inappropriately dissing and criticizing, by making fun of, the particular brand of BC I just purchased and I didn't appreciate the insults nor his perculiar since of humor.

So that's it. I don't have a beef against a BP/W rig. Yet I do think SB Staff should hold themselves to higher standard that what UP demonstrated with his post.

LOL - DJanni - you have the biggest insecurity complex about your gear as anyone I've seen on here in a long, long time.

You got that right. I always love it when a new diver and new member rolls onto SB like there's a new sherriff in town. And then proceeds to tell long standing and highly respected members and SB staff how to conduct themselves.

Djanni -- You may not have noticed, but ScottZeagle (as in the maker of your fine BC) was joining in. Don't worry, I use a Sherwood Shadow+ octo, one that's in-line with the BC inflator hose, and according to some posts you would think I have a pact with Satan. What matters is that you're entirely familiar with your own gear, use it, it works for you.

I still think UP must be getting all the air from my tank, going through a wormhole. It can't be that I suck air like a race horse at the Derby...

To make the starting post less offensive and more interesting I've edited the gramatical errors and included links to pictures taken on that dive... with the exception of the pics of Wendy... they are from previous dives.

Hope this helps.
:D

I noticed Zeagle was joining in and thought he was a bit miffed as well. But maybe not. In fact I thought several people took exception to the nature of the post. Was I overly sensitive? Maybe.

I still think the comparrision was in appropriate. I see UP revised his post to make it "quote" less offensive. Upon reading it again I'd say he did a good job of editng. Too bad I can't go back and edit mine now.

BTW: Don't tell me you really use a Shadow+??? Just kidding.

Djanni,

As a faily new member of the ScubaBoard staff, I would have to point out that we look to Uncle Pug for guidance on how the standards are upheld, and we truly enjoy his remarkable sense of humour!

Ummm.... djanni... I just corrected an few spelling and grammatical errors... plus added a few links to some photos.

But I'm glad it helped. :D

So... how did you like the pictures?
