Digital Diver has a forum, Moving Pixels, dedicated to videography. I'm sure some of the members there can talk your language!
I shoot underwater digital video semi-professionally (meaning I don't make enough with it yet to be "pro"). My current shows (about 30) are on Catalina's local cable TV twice a day. Am developing a multi-part educational video series on Kelp Forest Ecology that I will take regional in a year or so.
