can't say i've ever heard of him. i'll have to give the videos a watch and do some reading
Well, I fear it's not so surprising... The films were shot during the 50's and Hans Hass stopped making movies and TV films in the earl 80's, besides you live on the wrong side of the pond, and if you're less than 50 yo there's no way you'd have heard of him, unless you're a diving history buff.
Hope you'll enjoy the videos though. Keep an open mind, the world was way different back then, so was diving and caring about nature and wild life.
If you ever find books by Hans Hass (2nd hand, cause I fear there's no current edition on the US market nowadays), I DO recommend them, they're EXTREMELY well written and enjoyable.
