Tusa Regulator

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to buy a tusa RS230 regulator. Can you please provide your comments on this reg if you have used it before.

If you do not like the reg, can you suggest another reg that you would buy for a beginner diver.

I bought the Tusa RS-240 last year. The RS-240 is the exact same as the RS-230 that you are looking at but with a built in swivel on the 2nd stage. That's the only difference besides an extra $30 bucks in price for the swivel.

It was a good regulator at a good price. I don't think you'll be unhappy with it.

I did the same thing a year or so ago here asking who had it and didn't find many people on here that used it. But I also didn't find anything bad about it either.


However, I dove with an AquaLung this past summer and really liked it. So I've
now replaced the Tusa regulator with one from Aqualung. You can pick up an Aqualung Titan LX for a little cheaper than the Tusa, or an Aqualung Leglend LX for about $150 more.

So while the Tusa is not a bad regulator, I think I'm really gonna like my new
Aqualung Legend LX.
