Hi:

I want know if the Tusa M-14 is a good mask. Someboby have this mask? do you know the measure in inch of the mask? Thanks for your help

If it fits it's a good mask, don't worry about brands and styles with masks, find one that fits well. That's the most important feature of a mask. Tusa does make good masks as far as quality goes.

I have a TUSA Imprex purge mask and couldn't be happier. Just find one that fits and stick with it.

As long as the colour is coordinated with the rest of your equipment then the mask will be perfect.. LOL :D NOT!!!! Scottri is correct.. comfort and FIT are the most imprtant,, we are all ugly and scarry to the fish no matter what type of mask we wear..so comfort and fit !!!!!:mooner:

I am new to this (not certified yet). Anyway - my fiancee and I went to purchase gears (BC, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, etc) for our certification class and our honeymoon (Cozumel). Anwyay - my fiancee tried on a mask that appeared to have a good fit. When she inhaled, the mask stuck to her face. We bought it, and went home to try it out in our pool. The thing leaked like crazy. Went back to the LDS, and told them what happened. They looked at it and said the fit was not good. Basically - there's an inside skirt that was not touch all of her face. We were told that the inside skirt is really important for a watertight seal. The LDS helped her pick another cheaper mask where the inside skirt formed a good seal. We'll be testing out the new mask in our pool tonight. :D Anwyay - just wanted to post this so that you are aware that the inside skirt needs to form a good seal.

Just something else that was recommended to us: pick a mask that is shallow and not deep. We were told it makes it easy to clear and gave better field of vision. I can't cofirm on the clearing part, but it does appear to have better field of vision.

Good Luck!
