The genesis for this came from an earlier question posted a while ago, while looking into the fins in question I noticed an interesting (may not last) phenomenon in that if you ordered these fins in pieces from Bozo (Amazon) you can save about $100 over the cost of just buying the fins assembled.

Being a big fan of the scubapro super nova/ S tek fins I wanted to try these out and as a much less expensive to the SP take apart fins.
First to arrive were the screws and instructions,

These were $7
Today the foot pockets, $49, blades $69 (I think I got them for $59) and spring straps $45 ($39 when I bought them) arrived.

These look like they will be very nice fins, won’t know until the ocean starts accepting visitors again, hopefully soon but it will be 4 or 5 days at least to try them.
The blade angle is more like the super nova than the S

The hardware came with the instructions

Overall they look and feel like they are going to be great.
I like the scubapro system better for assembly and disassembly but these are not difficult by any means, you do need to make sure you have a 3mm allen available (I’ve ordered another hardware set for the SAD kit) the foot pocket seems adequate but this is the largest size, converse fit, tight but these are new and dry.

I don’t really care for spring straps but decided to try them before I start modifying things.

If you already have some Tusa hi-flex type fins these make for some nice paddle type fin blades, the angle makes conventional kicks less stressful and increases the power of a frog kick, and pretty inexpensive switch.
Will report back after I dive them.

@lexvil I have a pair of Switch Pros that I picked up to try, but will (unfortunately) not get to for a good while.

I can send you the blades to try as a comparison if you want. (Sorry, yellow)

Looking foward to your take on the Tri-Force!

Thanks for the offer, I may get a shot at these on New Year’s Day if the window stays open. I may take you up on the offer after I get a few dives in with these but I could also just order a set from the bozo and return them afterward ;)

I’ve got the Hyflex switch, and then upgraded to the Pro blades to get a little more power and stiffness. How stiff do the triforce blades feel?

I may get a chance to try them on the 1st, the coast is getting pounded pretty hard.

the coast is getting pounded pretty hard.

Same here since the beginning of the month. Most unusual extreme winds and high seas for us.

Got in an 85 minute dive with these yesterday, they are very good fins and worth looking at for take apart travel fins, good power and control, a solid choice. I did order the Tusa rubber bungees for these and returned the spring straps, big improvement. The bungee are adjustable without tools, I’ll have to see how they hold up long term but they are probably the best feeling out of the box bungees I’ve tried.
