Heading to Turks & Caicos for several weeks in February and probably staying on grace bay (not sure where yet). Any recommendations on the best outfits to dive with and best (don't miss) dive sites? Experienced divers, but never been to T&C before. Thanks!

If you enjoy all inclusives I can't say enough good things about Beaches, Turks and Caicos. The wife and I did 12 boat dives a peice throughout the week which were included in the price. After we did the math on what it would have cost us just with the 2 tank diving alone, we figured it cost us about $50 a night for an all inclusive. Not bad...let me know if I can answer any questions you might have...but the diving is top notch.

Here's a short video snippet of a reef octopus we saw on a night dive...

I can recommend Caicos Adventures and Dive Provo, not sure where they are in relation to the all inclusives. Just be sure that whichever dive op you pick takes you to West Caicos. It is where the best diving is. Grace Bay is O.K if you are a newbie or for a night dive.

Have a great trip.

My son and I had a great week diving with Caicos Adventures Dive Bahamas, in Turks & Caicos Islands, With Caicos Adventures! Dive Bahamas for Incredible Sites & Experiences! in July. The Caicos Cat is the best day boat I've ever been on, very stable with lots of room.

We dived independently but they put DMs to guide every dive if wanted. The DMs were as helpful as you needed and uniformly very nice people. We did 13 dives off West Caicos, an afternoon dive off Grace Bay and a night dive off Coral Gardens with DM Matthew. The 3 tank dive with lunch on Thursdays made a great day. The walls off West Caicos were quite nice, often rivaling Grand Cayman North Wall. The real treat were the Reef Sharks, seen on most dives. The following short video was shot at the cut in the wall at Boat Cove http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ztf....com/user/gullsuit&feature=player_profilepage Nitrox is available at a discount for diving a package.

I hope to have the opportunity to return to Provo someday and would not hesitate to dive with Caicos Adventures. Good luck, have a great trip

Good diving, Craig

I also agree, I dove with "Caicos Adventures" in February 2008 - great people,
great boat and wonderful diving.
You can't go wrong with them.
We stayed at "Royal West Indies", very nice place right on the beach.
And it had it's own small kitchen. Did not like "Sandles" - too many
people...
Enjoy your trip.

Caicos Adventures is Great ! Diving West Caicos, French Cay, Double D's are all great locations. Provo Turtle Divers is also a great Dive Co. and they were the first ever dive co. on Provo. Most all Dive Companies will pick you up at where ever you stay. Have a great time !!!!

I also stayed at Royal West Indies, Which was very nice! Dove (dived:D) with Dive Provo and can't say enough nice things about. Don't miss French Cay, G-spot (weather permitting)

Caicos Adventures is a perennial fovorite with great write-ups. Great people, great sites. The only negative is that it is almost a full day, as you have to van it to/from their dock and boat out/back to the sites for 45-60 minutes. So you will be back to Grace Bay about 2:30. If that works for you, definitely worth it.

As an alternative you might consider Big Blue, a smaller outfit that really gives high class service. Dived the Northwest Marine Park with them in July and was a fantastic, kid glove experience.

can second the reccommendations for Caicos Adventures. Have dived with them for years and they consistently eanr high marks. Dive days can run long.
