Soggy:
My two favorite things about the planning process (other than the fiancee part:wink:) have been choosing rings, and tasting cake.
Tasting cakes is the best. If you haven't tried them out yet, I recommend Pattycakes in Hanover, MA. We picked them from a list of a dozen that we tried, and there really wasn't a close second. No debate, we tried their cake and stopped looking.

After the first bite of a lemon mousse cake with raspberry glaze, I remember reeling with pleasure and remarking, "My god... it's so good I think my teeth are going to explode."

We've got the cake taken care of. There is an amazing bakery in Lake George, NY (where we are getting married). I had a similar thought when I tasted his marble cake with white chocolate mousse filling. He gave us 3 8 inch cakes to try.

Wild magic.

I'll bite...oh and what do you mean by "Wild Magic"?
Ber :lilbunny:

thank God for google, Walter, cause i had no idea what you were talking about

Walter:
White gold is wild magic. Don't you read, Darlin'?

Not anymore, unfortunately I don't have the time right now :( I don't think anything I'm likely to read would call white gold "wild magic" :eyebrow:

Look in the Classics thread. Back to the regularly scheduled thread on wedding bands...........

Soggy,
for something unique take a look at J. Loose's damascus rings. Loose is a highly respected bladesmith. His damascus is hand forged and the rings are seamless. They are really nice. You can have them lined in gold, silver, and I think white gold too.

Tell him 'Messinger' from k-net sent you.
