A co-worker and I dove Cath Rocks last night. It was beautiful and one of my best dives there ever. Water was calm, easy entry/exit. Great vis. Folly Cove was packed and we wanted someplace to ourselves. Got two dives in. One at dusk (in 7:15) and one after sunset. Coldest temp was 44 degrees at depth. (was fine diving wet in my Bare Semi-dry) Lots of fish and bugs (legal sized ones too!)

Saw Fluke/Flounder, lots of rock fish/sculpin, stripers, even a Cod. Also a big blue fish. (apologize, not the best fish identifier)

Nice coming out when it's warm outside. 1/2 moon helped climbing out at night. Hope to try to get out to Cape Ann Sunday (Fathers day! The one day I get to do what I want!!)

Forgot to mention depths. Both dives, went towards right. Dive 1 we dove down to sand 66 feet. On second dive, went a bit deeper and had max depth of 75 feet. This was section w/ canyons, overhangs/crevices which I love to dive through. On surface it was 51/52 ish.

Absolutely looking for others to join me. High tide's 12:38 PM. I'm looking to be there 10:30 in 11:15 ish. Will make call Sat night. If conditions aren't good for diving Cath Rocks, may end up artifact diving Portsmouth Channel. (Sarah Long Bridge or Harts Cove)
