Hi,

I am about to decide whether to buy a Tubbataha June transition trip (ending 14 June) with Expedition Fleet on MV Borneo Explorer.

I am a relatively inexperienced AOW diver with just about 40 logged dives over 2 years. I am not quite sure what to expect from the organisers. The boat seems big enough (about 26 meters) but I also know that the sea may already be pretty rough. I am also not sure who are the organisers, are they actually a dive shop or they just own the boat and the diving supervision is outsourced? Is the equipment OK? I have none of my own.

I would urgently appreciate your feedback.

Raf

When we went with the Expedition fleet last June, there was a family of divers, who's experieced was lacking. I don't know how you dive, but with 40 to 50 dives under your belt, and now a newly AOW card, go for it. They will take care of you to a certain degree, by teaming you up with divers of your same level. Maybe bring some seasick medication or patches if you are prone to seasickness. PM for more info. about Expedition fleet if you like?
