...//... Lynne understood that knowledge, friendship and truth is the only gold worth anything, and made more by sharing.
Yes, no question about that.

But, personally, I miss her quiet and tremendously understated sense of humor. It was a cat-and-mouse game with us. She was determined to corrupt me into becoming DIR and it was my task to stay just out of reach. http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/un...-rig-suggestions-post7447620.html#post7447620

I miss her too, Peter. I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. She was one of a kind...

Like many on this board, I never met Lynne but it seemed I knew her well through her thoughtful and well written posts. In particular, I appreciated the excellent medical advice she gave. My deepest condolences to Peter.

So sad over the loss of someone I never met, a huge loss to the SB community.
Sincere condolences to you and your family Peter.

words .. I still have none .. or maybe not enough of them

other than to say, like many have said, I am stunned by the sharpness of the grief and heartache I am feeling for someone who I never got the chance to meet in person

thank you to all that have posted their thoughts and memories .. it helps, and it hurts both, if you can understand what I mean

So sorry Peter.
Others have already eloquently have posted what I can't articulate. Peace and serenity as you travel these dark days.

Devastating....

I've been a diver for over 35 years and employed in the dive industry full-time for over 20 years. Her postings commanded my utter respect and attention not just for her knowledge as a diver but for her self awareness as a person.

A person that could touch the lives of so many people whom never even met her...
We should all aspire to be such a person.

When the ghetto drama of the internet would manifest in a Scubaboard thread, she wrote with a voice that brought calm...
When things got unreasonable her postings brought reason...
When there was supposition and guessing, she brought science...
