When we were there last year, an employee (not one who was working directly on the island, BTW), stated that he had almost left several times because of the owner. He stated the fellow was very rude and full of himself, and nothing good was said about him. Combine that with a few SB and TA reports which mentioned ownership and I could imaged that could be the root of the high turnover with resort couples.
I've had a few bosses I've clashed with, and can be best to get out quietly while you still have a good reputation without slinging too much mud or burning bridges. You're future employers will hold that stuff against you for sure.
