Thanks for the good report. It is great to hear that Tufi is still a fantastic place to visit and dive. I dove there back in November, 2004 (great weather), and despite a mechanical/logistical problem with a dive boat, I thoroughly enjoyed the diving. Out on the reefs I had some of the best visibility I have experienced.
Good point about the flight from Port Moresby to Tufi. After waiting four hours or so in the terminal, my Friday afternoon flight was cancelled. Although the airline did pay for my night at the Airways hotel – enjoyed the hotel – it did result in a lost dive day.
