I too stayed at Casa Mexicana for the first time last month, and thought the hotel was an excellent choice. As for a "leisurely breakfast"...my only complaint is they start promptly at 7AM sharp, which only gave me 30 minutes to eat and meet the dive boat at the Aldora pier. Haven't eaten so fast since I was in basic training, many, many, many years ago...If enough divers complained,do you think they might open-up a half-hour earlier ?

We were picked up at 0815 at the Aqua Safari Pier, which was perfect for us. Leisurely breakfast at the Casa Mexicana and walk to the pier at 0805. We dove with 80s, but I believe with enough notice they can get 100s. The Nitrox was $10 additional, I believe. They had fresh fruit for surface intervals, and provided microfiber towels if you needed one. They also have a dry bag for your use, but we brought our own. We never had more than 6 divers, and usually 4 to 5. When we had 6 we had an extra DM, but that may have been because my wife was doing her advanced training so Raymundo was busy instructing. We were able to dive our tanks, heading to safety stop at 700, and out of water as your air consumption dictated. Again, we enjoyed it and will dive with them again in December.

Thanks!
See you on the reef!
Jay

It was leisurely for us since we were picked up by Salty Endeavors at 0815. If we had an 0730 pick up I would have had to make a return to my earlier days as well. "Sir may I ask a question?" No you may not!
