We were the divers waiting for you to pull off the Sheridan. We did the wreck trek described on Chad's site. Very cool dive, we hit the Sheridan, Blackthorn, Blackthorn Superstructure, Sea Food Barge, and the Ledge then returned to the Sheridan. All that on 1 dive. I think we swam past you while you were on the Blackthorn. Pretty cool dive, just not much time to check anything out in detail.

The Blackthorn smoke-stack used to be about half way between the BT & the ST, and it often had gags on it, so sometimes I'd cross more than once. It dissappeared after the No-Name Storm. AJ's had a tendancy to follow when you'd leave the wrecks too, so it usually lead to some serious shooting.

There were never a lot of lobster offshore here in mid-dive depths, since 1972 anyway, but many more than today. It was common to get one or two maybe every 3rd or 4th trip. The Middle Grounds being the exception, but it's often tough to lobster there because of the structure as well as the depth. Goliaths are everywhere today. A small ledge we hit my last trip out had one, it was only 1 foot tall and scattered pieces of ledge.

Did some more reading on lobster. A friend is a commercial bug diver, and a wealth of knowledge. I plan to have a FREE lobster seminar soon too.
