Yes, I use the one from Mako Spearguns because I am just to darn cheap to drop 80 bucks on the Blurfix. The footage from Sunday is very green so I need to look into a magenta filter to add inside the housing. I'm going to try some photoshop magic this evening to improve the video and then get something posted up.

Can't wait to see. I keep looking at the Mako one. Can't beat the price. Does their lens fix the focus issue?

You'll see nothing but streamlined precision in action. :D :mooner:

I would expect nothing less from you! That's why IF there was footage to the opposite, it would be so enjoying to watch! :D (Thats why I like being behind the camera, and not in front of it. Less likelyhood of my strokeness being captured!)

Ok...without further ado. Here is a link to the video. Jim, no worries about how you looked. I spent most of my time editing out my inability to control the camera and buoyancy at the same time. :-( Sorry it took so long to get this up. The FDA decided to make a surprise visit at work this week, so free time was scarce.

The original video was VERY green so I used iMovie to try and add a bit of natural color back in. The result was some washed out lighting, but overall it improved the video. It is apparent that I need to get one of the magenta, green water filters which can be purchased on-line along with the LCD screens so I can see what the hell I am shooting! For a first time out taking video it could have been worse.

Tried to hit Blue Springs for a couple if dives today buy could not get in due to a locked chain on the gate. Anyone know if they are closed down?

A dive bud and I are interested in checking out this dive site.

What is the latest word/update?

Anyone dived there very recently?

Thanks

Tried hitting BS with Divin'Hoosier a few weeks ago. When we got there the gate was shut with a locked chain around it. My buddy said the gate is commonly closed but he had never seen it locked. I have not heard anything since. Anyone else have an update?
