clgsamson:Chip, want to play with the map? put an X where you got narced and we'll name it Chip's Bar
glad everybody got away unscathed...
So sorry for Larry's Oly.
Eric, low on air? a freeflow?chip104:hehehe, let's not go renaming anything...
I'm not sure if I have my depth correct - but I remember reading between 23-26m where before I went up and I don't remember the cavern. I remember passing the school of blue triggerfish and we could see the corrider between the two mounds. So I would assume right around the splitting headache area but a little shallower.
As soon as I went up, Mons and Spoon went up (heard their story), then Eric went up (low air), then Matthew and Ish were the only ones to continue.
btw, I did all the dives in my red shorts since I forgot my wetsuit.
not a southerly course - from layag layag entry, just went along the wall to the mounds. Pretty much went the course on your map, from the bangka to the splitting headache area.clgsamson:Eric, low on air? a freeflow?
@chip - you went up 25 mins. after you back rolled, right? you took a southerly course?
Spoon:yeah!!! i saw it a mile away it really looked like a baby alien. i then proceeded to trying to call your freaking attention for 5 mins before you looked. i have seen a lot of weird things but this little guy defintely takes the cake!!! im pretty pissed of becasue i dint bring the camera down. i could bring it down 1000 times and wouldnt find one ever again. we are pretty darn lucky i know people that have been diving anilao for decades and havent seen a flamboyant cuttlefish EVER.
thepurplehammerhead:Saw two in PG in Feb - photographed them too...
Anyway, Tubba in the morning with a borrowed camera (couldn't find a replacement Oly in Manila this afternoon). BTW Spoon, just bought any Oxycheq 55lbs twins wing - is that the same one you had?
Be good, all
(and yes, my camera was insured...)
clgsamson:@Jonix - Panny's point/Dead Palm - that's where we did our night dive with Rene (aquav DM) last January.
