if you can borrow a set of Hollis F1's or bigger jet fins try that. If that doesn't work you may just have to go to small 1 or 2lb ankle weights which would be terrible. What breather are you on? I assume the bottle are inverted? How are your stages run? If they are standard DIR style stages, try putting a bungee on and pulling them back so the slung bottles are sidemounted instead of just clipped off. This moves the first stages lower on your body and helps to pull your hips down.

You are correct, it's a homebuilt unit modeled after a GUE JJ. Inverted twin 7l and a normal 3l O2 cylinders.

Standard DIR stages. I'll give the bungee a try next time I'm out.

I have a trim pouch attached to the bottom of the box where I could stick a few pounds but adding weight is the last resort since the rig is pretty much spot on neutral without stages.

can you try inverting the O2 bottles? That would be the equivalent of like a 6-8lb trim weight at the bottom since you're taking off at least 3lbs from your shoulders and moving it to your hips...

Sorry, shoulda been more clear. The O2 bottle is already mounted valve down.
