You're 16 correct? Do you go to school? If so, when did school start back up for you?

You got your o/w cert on Aug. 7 correct?

How many dives did you do to get your o/w cert? What agency did your instructor teach through?

When did you go to T&C and how long did you stay there? Five days? Seven days?

How many day's of diving did you do while in T&C? How many dives did you do in T&C?

You said you did your aow class in T&C correct?

Did you take your nitrox class there too?

When did you take your drysuit class?

How many dives have you done since you've been back from T&C?

Do you see where I'm going with this?

I can see you getting ow,aow, nitrox, drysuit all within a month period given some circumstances with you having allot of time and money on your hands, but I just do not see you getting 50 dives within 21 days. I could believe at most 30 dives and that's taking into account that you did 5 dives for your o/w class and did 25 dives in T&C over a 5 day period. I don't know about where you live, but around here the schools started up two weeks ago. I can see a teenager going to a pier and doing a dive with buddies after school a couple times a week, if that person lived near water, but to do minimum of 20 dives in a two week period with school in progress? Also, none of this is taking into account the instructors hours. Most instructors that I know have full time jobs and only instruct because it's a hobby for them. Most of them wouldn't take time off work to do a nitrox class or a drysuit class. The money just wouldn't be there for them.

if you look at past theards i had 15 dives before ow cert school starts sep 6

Hmm... Some intresting things here. First off, I'm 16 as well, i've got about 75 dives so far. Just get some more experiance for now, don't even think about trimix until you finish Advanced Nitrox, and have >200 dives. If you have read the IANTD Standards as you seem to have, Trimix is more than just breathing diffrent gas, its a lot more skills.

P.S, who was running the charter on the Cony Island? Was that on the 26th, I was supposed to be on that trip too. Treasure Cove?

I plan on being at Dutch Springs this Sunday, Sep. 3nd. Let me know if you want to go then.
EDIT-Yea, sep. 2nd isnt a sunday is it! really ment to say sunday sep. 3rd

Dang, I thought *I* was moving fast.

I suggest you take some of your money, and take both DIR-F, and a cavern class from a good cave instructor. I can recommend a dozen or so if you want. You want to dive the Doria? Great. Get some skills first. Training is not skills. Hours in the water is what you need, and lots of them.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade... but I've seen a number of people get pushed through stuff too fast, and seeking glory in diving. Leads to issues, potentially death. Guys with 20+ years experience die on the Doria. It's nothing to trifle with.

When you can complete a valve drill, manage a light, and keep track of your buddy all in 5ft of water, then maybe you're ready for trimix. Blowing an ascent on mix from 250 will kill you. I did a cave dive with someone with 6 years of diving experience this week. She blew right past her deep stop. On mix, it might have been a rescue. Fortunately we were on 32%, and at 50ft coming up from a 95 minute dive to 100ft.
