I have got two new DIN conversion kits from Trident, Model A166: they should fit old SP regulators such as MK10 and MK15.
They are an almost identical copy of Scubapro part # 10-400-030, which is shown here:

Here the Trident catalog for this A166 model:

Here a couple of photos of the real thing I have:

Please note that Trident does not declare explicitly what are the Vintage SP regulators compatible with this kit. I bought two of them, hoping they were OK for my old Scubapro MK5, AND THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE, as the MK5 requires a different kit with longer barrel and an O-ring after the threaded part (part # 10-105-030).
So I SUPPOSE that this A166 kit works on MK10 and MK10, as it seals with an O-ring inside the termination, before the filter, as the original SP kit shown above.
If anyone here on SB has more detailed info, I warmly encourage to post here the list of compatible regs.
Now, the price: I paid a total for these two A166 kits $ 92.46 plus shipping. So I can depart from them for just 40 bucks each.
Shipping cost depends on the type of postal service you want (consider that I am in Italy, and due to current situation here, the shipping can be slow). For normal postal shipping the cost would be 12 USD, and for insured shipping it will be 24 USD. If you buy both items, the shipping cost does not increase.
PM me if you are interested, or you want more detailed photos, etc...

There have been various discussions that the MK-5 uses a different DIN assembly. These are similar to the ScubaPro Universal model, fitting the same regulator models.

The modern SP Universal model can have the O-ring after the threaded part, and can be mounted on the MK5. It is just necessary to insert a 2mm thick brass washer inside, for being able to apply the proper torque on the threaded part working against the bottom of the hole.
This trident A166, instead, cannot be mounted on the MK5 even with that trick, for two reasons:
1) there is no groove after the threaded part for placing the O-ring.
2) The filter inside is kept in position from the O-ring which seals in the MK-10 and MK-15, in a MK5 the filter would not stay locked in its proper position.
I have a MK10 here at home, and the A166 "seems" to mount correctly.
But I do not have a tank with air pressure just now, and we are locked at home, not allowed to exit (and diving shops are closed, in any case) so I cannot test with air pressure if the A166 is airtight on the MK10...

Seems like part A194 is the one you want for MK10 according to their catalogue. But the picture would imply the A166 would fit everything pre-MK10 so it could be wrong.

On the MK10 I installed the new Scubapro Universal DIN kit, part # 10.045.030:

I succesfully installed it also on my two MK5 (using the brass washers):

So at this point I have here the two Trident A166 kits, new and unused, and I would like to sell them to someone who can make good use of them (not on MK5, indeed)...

You need to add a for sale flag to your thread title or repost with a for sale flag.

Sorry, it is the first time for me attempting to sell scuba items, I have to figure out how to add that flag...

<<EDIT>>
Found! It was beside the title...
Thanks for the suggestion...

Yes, I thought you may attract more potentially buyers with the flag on.

Good luck with the sale

Your MK8 is nice. In practice a MK5 with not-rotating turret, removing the only weak point of the MK5.
The lower part of the body looks identical to a MK5, so yes, a brass washer 1.90-2.00 mm thick should do the job.
Here some picture of my one:

Here you see the washer inserted in the reg body:

Here you see the barrel of the SP Universal DIN Kit after moving the O-ring from the external groove (good for MK2) to the internal groove (good for MK5):

And here the final result, where I managed to preserve the saddle (if the washer is too thin, the saddle does not fits anymore):

In any case you need to do something to your MK8, as I see that it is still equipped with the old thin yoke,
rated only to 180 bars, which is unsafe on modern tanks filled up to 232 bars.
