I got a couple of dives in at Windy Point private today. The temp has raised to 54 and the vis was as good as 5 to 7 feet in some places three feet in others. Much better than last Saturday when we had to call the dive because we couldn't see the inside of our masks. The wind kicked up the white caps and washed the silt down off the rocks.

Thanks for the note....is the lake level still seriosly low?

It is a little over 34 feet down from full.

Dived Travis near the dam on 3/3: winds were 10-20 mph. out of NNE; 69 degrees at 14.00 hours; water at surface was 57 degrees; lake level is still 646+; 5-10 feet vis. Travis has only received 5.89 inches of rain since 3-3, 2006.

Thanks for the updated fellows.

Yeah, we had a few big storms that dumped some stuff on Travis, back in January when it flooded Pflugerville and Austin, but only dropped like 3 or 4 inches at the lake.

Yes, 5.89 inches of rain at Travis since the first of the year; sorry for the typo.
