I am looking to pruchase a single tank wing mostly for wetsuit, (warm-er) water diving. I am already equipped for double, dry suit diving.
Since I am not able to try most of them I wanted to hear from you if you have any recommendation?
I have seen the Dive Rite (Voyager) and Halcyon which look nice. Halcyon is on the pricey side!! But I cannot test them!

Second question what additional accessories did you buy with it (extra pouch; type of weight system if mroe than one is available; etc..)

I have both a Dive-Rite transpac with a Voyager wing and a Halcyon single tank adapter which has an integrated weight, with their eclipse 30# wing that I use with the same backplate that I have been using forever.

Personally, I find the transpac a little busy. But it is comfortable. I only picked up the transpac because that's the equipment we're using where I teach and I believe in being 100% familiar with the gear my students are in. If I were to buy a new Dive-Rite "tec/rec" setup with a softpack I would probably look hard at the travelpac BC and skip the transpac altogether.

If I was looking at "do it all" kit that works with a backplate, I would probably do the single tank adapter bit. You don't need to limit yourself to Halcyon though, the only reason I have the Halcyon rig is because I was able to get it for peanuts. Light monkey has a really slick low profile single tank adapter in addition to their rail. The nice thing about the STA is that it allows me to use the same harness and backplate that is already sized for me, and that I have developed muscle memory for whenever I go recreational diving.

FWIW -- on my trip to the Cayman Islands last week I was diving the backplate and single tank adapter. I just prefer that setup over the transpac.

Thanks for the extensive reply. I was (am) looking at either the Travel or Voyager Dive Rite plus one of their weight system (DR Travel Weight Pockets or the { 16 lb | 7.3 kg } or { 32 lb | 14.5 kg } Quick Buckle weight systems). Maybe one additional Dive Rite pocket for the misc. gear (mask or torch). I assume there are enough D-rings for warm water diving (reel; gauge; current hook; light).
I quickly looked at the Light Monkey. This is traditional Wing / Hogarthian harness.
Glad to read you got a good price on the Halcyon. Here the "peanuts" are quite expensive!!

Deep Sea Supply is great.

Avoid OMS

A tank adapter is not necessary.

Weight pockets for the tank straps are useful for getting proper trim.

If you don't have thigh pockets on your weight suit, a pocket that hangs from the waist belt is quite useful.

I use a weight belt; 6# in the trim pockets and 8# on the belt.

I'm diving the Halcyon Eclipse wing and love it. Very balanced, stable, and well made. If you can deal with the "H tax" it's a great wing. You will find less expensive but excellent offerings from Oxycheq, Hog, and DSS. Best to try before you buy but if that's not possible you really can't go wrong with any of them.

If cost is a concern, and those H's can cost, look into the DRIS alum bp/w. I have one and love it. Very basic rig, I added 2 XSScuba weight pockets and a V weight in the STA. You wont find a better deal on quality gear.

DSS is also great, but costs more. Others cost more, but I dont think they offer more. Depends on what you are looking for.

I have a Halcyon 30# Eclipse and use the plain XS Scuba weight pockets on the waist belt and cam bands as needed. If I want extra storage, I wear Highland neoprene shorts.

If you aren't using a lot of neoprene, you should look at the Deep Sea Supply 17 pound travel wing. It's small, packs flat, and is effortless to dive. You feel as though there is no wing there at all when you are swimming, and it vents instantly. I love mine.

The Halcyon wing is a "cut above" the rest and is designed a bit different. I use the Infinity and can really tell a difference from previous wings I have dove. Look at the cut of the wing, you may notice a slight taper towards the bottom and a tad longer. This is done for a reason to support the tank better and create a better balance for the diver. Well worth it for quality of material and design.
