I know, but unless I get the Si-kat at 9:30am, it is unavailable for another 24 hours, so it depends if my flight arrives on time and how fast I can leave the airport. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't have booked my room the first night, but I got nervous when the first few resorts I wanted in Anilao sold out a month ahead.
How did your transportation go? What did you end up using? Taxi? Shared ride? Si-kat? I'll be there in a month and I'm still trying to get it organized. I don't want to use Si-kat. It may be the cheapest, but it's a PITA.

I split a taxi with a friend to the CityState and we took the Si-kat. The bus portion was very well organized.

The Ferry portion - not so much. We were dragging bags without help, wondering where to go, listening to announcements that echoed so much I couldn't even tell if they were in English or not, waiting a long time, then after we boarded, we waited in a small room with curtains on the windows and cheesy movies at ear-splitting levels. Once we finally got moving, there was a loud nails-on-chalkboard sound the whole way - maybe that is why they had the movie so loud. I got sea-sick, I am prone to it if I cannot be on deck or at least looking out a Window, but the weather may have had something to do with it.

Si-kat schedule typically arrives over an hour before the ferry. If the bus makes good time is there any allowance for taking the earlier ferry?

Of course you can. But you have to forfeit your prepaid ferry ticket and buy a new one with different operator.
