I have an older transpac with a sportwings II wing. It fits well, and though I haven't yet tried it in the water, I'm confident that it will work fine.
My question concerns the two pockets that are attached to the cummerbunds the same way weight pockets would be. They're 11" X 5.5" with Dive Rite embroidered on the front. They are open at the top except for 1" at each end, one end has a web strap sewn on to close it off and a web w/ velcro to close the other, but this is ~1.5" webbing and doesn't close the pocket completely. For the life of me I can't think of what they're for. Small items would just slide out, a soft weight pouch would have to be quite large to be held in securely.
I'm mystified! Any ideas of what they're for?

Thanx
James
