Transpac II Tek D rings

I recently traded the old transpac original in for the new transpac II.

Questions about sidemounts:

Are you clipping sidemounts to the standard D ring on the waist strap or are you installing the tek D ring to the shoulder strap baseplate?

You are going to install the tek D-ring for the sidemount rig. You can go to their site and download the conversion instructions.

I guess it would be too easy for me to think of that. Do you use a transpacII. I don't want to mount my twins as sidemounts only my deco bottles. Is that what you mean by sidemount rig.

Opps... Yea, I meant as a sidemount rig. I don't think you will need the Tek D-ring for stages. Still check the site.
