totally OT: UCF vs Texas. who's going?!!

It is truly amazing how far both of these programs have come. I grew up in Orlando and remember when UCF was FTU (or Bithlo Tech, as us Gators called it back then) and I think their football team was lousy even by HIGH SCHOOL standards. Florida is FAST becoming THE Football state.

Three Pro Teams (Well, Miami seems to be taking the year off)
A half dozen excellent college programs.

What other state has this depth of Football excellence?

The Knights didn't do it, the Bulls did! WOW! Where did they come from this year? The only undefeated FL team and now #3 in the nation on the polls! It's not like UF, FSU, UCF, or UM or others are playing lousy either, there seems to be a general stepping up of intensity with college ball this year and USF has definitely dialed in this year!

FSU people just "bleed garnet and gold"; UCF though really gets into some serious vivisection. It might be good for USF to go undefeated since what they would have cleaved off in defeat kinda makes me feel uncomfortable.

#2 my butt. Honestly, any of the big teams in the country would crush them. I don't disagree that they're good, but come on....you think they would really beat LSU? UF? Arkansas? Cal? Oregon? I don't think so.

Let's try and see those USF football players try to get into any other school in the state...oh wait, they did.
