Total dive hours

I dive and dive and dive.
If I start to be critical about someone elses diving then I start to think I know enough to get myself in trouble. Thats not to say that I won't try to correct someone if I see then doing it wrong but if they're not receptive to my suggestions I shut up and just know that I may have to be attentive in the water ,more than usual. It's usualy small things like a snorkel in a cavern or boots outside the wet suit. The only time I even think of evaluating someone is if I'm diving with them and I may have to depend on them to save my life.
The day I stop learning is the day they place me in a box.

You can't equate 3,000 20ft reef dives to doing 50 130ft dives with low vis, stiff current and rough seas.

Well said even though one presents more risks and challengs these are two completly different experiences.

I checked off "0 to 5" because my cumulative bottom time on scuba so far falls into that range. Not counting checkout dives, which IMO don't count.

However I've logged a heckuva lot more water time than that, while freediving...........
