Hi All,
Thanks for the big welcome or as we say in Ireland, the "cead mile failte" (1 hundred thousand welcomes). Nice to see i'm not alone in my addiction
Californiadiver - We may eat cabbage and bacon, but it wouldnt be that often and its not something we would eat on st paddys day. But we do love our potatoes, done any way at all. We're not the fussiest eaters!! Mind you, you cant beat a good big irish breakfast, with bacon, sausages, toast, beans, mushrooms, black and white pudding, and whatever else you want (it has to be bad for your health to go on the plate!!). We need to put on lots of fat, to stay warm here in ireland!! Guinness really is the only irish thing that we are forever drinking!!
To Laurens - Last year when we went cruising in the bahamas, and i got her to go on a snorkel trip with me in nassau. But to be honest i think it scared her off, because it wasnt too well run, the conditions werent ideal, and we were snorkelling off a boat, which was a bit scary for her. Plus we both had to wear these safety flotation devices which totally inhibitted my ability to dive down or look even remotely cool!! But i'm not finished with her yet, were off on another cruise this year back to the caraib, so i'm going to get her to go snorkelling again.
To Lil Irish Temper - Love the username and the avatar. Classic, i can already see the irish temperment. I had to weep while listening to that rendition of Danny Boy, it touched my small green heart!! Good to see were well supported on the forums!!
To Teresa - Nice pic of you, you seem like a fun lovin gal! I think june is a great time to have a birthday. Brilliant, coz its near the real summer months and its starting to get really nice weather here. And what can i say, we share a birthday, we're the best!!
To the texas guy - Thanks for the invite, hope to go to collect my ten gallon hat sometime soon! have you dived those rigs off the coast, i hear they are fantastic and that there are sharks a plenty around some of them!
Anyway sorry for my long reply. Thanks again for the welcome
