Top 10 reasons I prefer the “old” Scubaboard.

9. Red vs. blue flags were easier to see which forums/threads had new posts.
8. Old control panel showed buddy list on 1st page.
7. Old buddy list was separated online and offline.
6. Click on buddy in buddy list used to take you to their profile.
5. One click on old buddy list would let you send a buddy a PM.
4. In message tracking, the old board told when the person was last online.
3. In message tracking, the unread messages were at the top.
2. There were no reputation points.

and the number one reason I prefer the “old” Scubaboard................

Walter,
For the most part we are using a stock look right now but that won't last. In the upcomming weeks expect to see more of the old icons and styles as we fine tune things. Our main concern is making sure what we modify does not harm the functionality of the board as we had many problems with bad bugs on the old board.

Having been around since the very early days of the board, I have to agree with you Walter. I liked the old format better, to me it was easier to read. I suspect it will be like most other programs that get changed, I will like it better after I get use to it.

This is one of my biggest beefs. I'm going to look into if I can tweak the buddy list so that if you click on a buddy, you get teh same pulldown menu as when you click on a persons name on their post.
