The ride out was alittle bumpy with 2' to 3' seas.
We went to the South Pinellas reef (where the tug orange is) we dove one of the wreckes there, vis was 5' to 10' at best, not much life here.
Next we went south a mile to the Betty Rose, vis was alittle better here with 20 to 30 foot side to side, but you couldn't see the bottom til we hit 15 or 20 foot deep. There was alot of life to see here, a 4' or 5' Jew fish and 8 or 10 snook with the biggest one at 6' long, I wanted to shoot one so bad but, I didn't, and a good thing to because when we surfaced the florida fish and game strolled over to say hi.
Did I mention that this was my daughters (14yrs old) first 2 dives after getting her OW cert, she did great and she liked the big fish...
