It takes an attitude adjustment, one that says we will all respond with thoughtful reactions to ideas and concepts rather than mocking insults of the intelligence of those with other views.

Man up bud. The only people getting mocked are nitwits. If you are remotely within common sense nobodies ripping anyone, except Bugman for being in the WKPP now :D

... such as ...

People need to be aware when agency leaders put marketing and profits in front of diver safety. The fact that I could guess which agency teaches such silliness without it even being hinted at proves that it's reoccurring over there.

During the course of my advanced trimix training, I was thoroughly exposed to beliefs that contradicted my previous training. I remember doing a long deco stop after a 200 foot dive while hanging on an ascent line in heavy current. I could not help but stare at the analysis sticker on the back gas of the very experienced diver immediately below me, a sticker that said he was diving air. I thought about ScubaBoard as I stared at it, thinking about how badly he would be flamed for that. It would be nice to think he could come on and talk about it, but I am afraid he would be slammed so hard for his stupidity that he would not want to participate.
... that person would not only be slammed, but I could sit here right now and tell you the names of the people who would do the slamming ... of course, you could too.

Why bother ... you'd have to be some sort of masochist to want to share anything with this crowd that they don't already agree with ...

if your deco is only twice as long as your bottom time you shouldn't be in this forum. :D

At my deep stop ;)

We can practice this Sunday unless you're at the ranch

So what was this tread about???

Oh yeah, I like T2T because it keeps all of the yahoos out, unlike the regular tech forum. I don't really want to read post about about why this brand of regulator or tank is better, or the bp/w post. I do believe the type of diving we do should be kept out of sight from the non-tech divers, if someone is interested in Technical Diving they should seek out an Instructor that teaches Technical Diving, not seek out advise on the internet. I know of person that does tech diving, while they have not been trained properly, they do it because they have some fancy computers.
