Sneering at someone isn't the best way to get them to rethink their practices. Unfortunately some people don't seem to be able to make a point any other way

No wonder hardly anybody posts in T2T

Nobody posts in T2T because its basically the same people posting in the regular Tech forums. T2T is redundant.

That's probably part of it, although it wasn't exactly a hotbed of activity before either from what I've seen

What's your solution?

I don't see what question or problem would be answered or resolved by that action - unless it's that T2T membership no longer validates your opinion of yourself as one of the elite of SB

You asked my solution, I told you.

Why would I ditch it? Because its not needed, everything addressed here, is(or can be) addressed in the regular Tech forum. There's really no topics that are being discussed here that wouldn't be discussed at the regular tech forum by the same people. Its redundant, and its redundant.

I don't need SB to feel elite, I feel that way perfectly fine without this forum :P

Says he who has the most posts here

I just wondered what it was that your "solution" was solving - that there are too many forums? If the people posting in T2T are the same that are posting in the regular tech forum, then the post & answer ratios should be the same in each I would have thought, dunno

To put it another way, what are the topics that you think should/could be discussed in a T2T forum that aren't/can't be currently, and what conditions should be imposed to facilitate them, bearing in mind that the previous iteration of T2T didn't seem to meet those needs either

Yes I know, you don't care what I think - let's have a pissing match about which one of us cares less what the other one thinks

That part at least is quite clear ;)

Says he who has the most posts here...

Do you have a point?

There are too many redundant forums and this one isn't really filling any need. The regular tech forum sees a higher post count because, you don't have to opt in, and its for general users as well.

Apparently there isn't really suitable topics for T2T that aren't best met elsewhere, via another forum, or other media... No conditions need apply, since the need for T2T isn't there.

If you don't like it, opt out or quit posting. No one is being forced to participate.
