I was planning on diving at Lobos tomorrow with a few others, but wonder if it's worth getting out of bed at 5am to drive down there. This would mean I could not consume any wine tonight, which I'm pretty fond of doing.

I'd appreciate if any locals would care to give a thumb either way.

Thx

Yeah, I looked at the forecast and decided not to go diving today, not noticing that it was out of the S/SW. Breakwater was fairly flat when I drove by....I'd dive. And Chuck says dive. :) Although it is raining right now in Monterey, but that has no bearing on tomorrow.

...GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...

.TODAY...S WINDS 25 TO 35 KT WITH GUSTS TO 45 KT. COMBINED SEAS OF

On second thought, with that 3 a.m. forecast I'd stay home.

I planned to go to Lobos on Friday. A phone call later confirmed, the divers reporting at the station said it was "surgy" We dove the breakwater instead since we were there and it was calm.
What did you decide? did you go?

You came by and didn't say hi!?! Didn't you recognize the trailer?

I know it's post dive, but I like the idea of calling Ben at 5am....just for general purpose! :D
