Country Joe and the Fish
I feel like I'm Fixin' to Die...Gimme an F! :)

And if you want to find me I'll be
out in the sandbox,
wondering where the hell all the
love has gone,
Playing my guitar and building
castles in the sun
and singing "Fun, fun, fun."

Local Toronto band, Barnaked Ladies with Brian Wilson

Let's try this:
I was twenty one years when I wrote this song
I'm twenty two now, but I won't be for long
People ask when will you grow up to be a man
But all the girls I loved at school
are already pushing prams

barenaked ladies "Brian Wilson Lyrics" (?)

You can’t write if you can’t relate
Trade the cash for the beef for the body for the hate
And my time is a piece of wax fallin’ on a termite
That’s chokin’ on the splinters

[crap Tamas beat me to it.. no idea what his song is]

[i just googled the answer and i should be ashamed.. i used
to love that artist... don't know the song, though]

YOU WHAT? Shame on you young man.....go stand in the corner and think about what you have done. And don't even think about dessert tonight

Squashie:
Once again, back to the vinyl...I know this is either Ozzy or Black Sabbath...but can't place the song exactly...Paraphrasing Dr. "Bones" McCoy; "Damn it Manelishi...I'm a guitar player, not a jukebox!" :11doh:

Now if my photographic memory (i.e. sense of hearing) worked on printed materials instead of audio stimulation this would be easier...since i always read the liner notes & lyrics on albums, cd's...etc.

No need to go back to the vinyl; the real Sabbath is being reissued on CD.

If it's Ozzy it's Sabbath; Ozzy's voice was Sabbath.
Diamond Dave was VanHalen.
Ian Gillan was Deep Purple.
Klaus M was The Scorpions.
Udo was Accept.
Rob Halford was Judas Priest.
Steve Walsh and Robbie Steinhardt were Kansas.

Too bad every one of those bands developed a taste of commercialism and began to decline.

Supernal:
Hah! Good one! Sneaking in the religion debate from another thread!

Nope. But it was appropriate and probably a surprise to some who think they have me figured out.

Here's another:

And the meek shall inherit the earth.

Green_Manelishi:
And the meek shall inherit the earth.
that's a really great song off 2112, overture.

so green manelishi is cause you're a priest fan? i saw their greatest performance ever from 7th row center, when they ripped down the garden. ah, those were the days.

how about...

HELLO people.....we have a song that needs to be deciphered here.....no small talk on the side please......sheesh! some people will just go on and on not realize that there are other items in the agenda that need to be discussed and not only what they are talking about and then they just go and not even pay attention to what is being said......see here I go now! :D

HE-he :D!
