AmyJ:
Just got mine. Any one read the manual??? TOOO Funny!! My husband sat down and read it just because he felt left out when I was laughing so hard reading a manual!!! Wonder if the other language versions are equally funny or not???

haha, just got mine and i was going to ask if anyone else had read the manual, it IS hilarious! I think the guy in the manual eating the watch is my Uncle Roy! Man, so far I really like this watch.

Is the manual written toung in cheek of is it the usual botched translation?

Does the temp dispaly remain all of the time? I tried a reefmaster and the temp went away in stopwatch mode. I ended up getting a small swiming pool thermoment to tuck away.

The temp stays on all the time.

The fact that the manual has a full page picture of a goofy looking guy trying to chew on the watch should answer your first question ;)

My Citizen Aqualand Duplex hit the skids and the service center in Torrance, CA is out of business??? (Does not return calls/messages)
Poog, the service center in Torrance replaced my Duplex' battery about three weeks ago. I called beforehand and while the watch was there, both times I had people on the phone without problems. Used the number from their website.

The watch is great. One warning thought.
The watch surface I think is made out of hard plastic. Found out the hard way :11:
Went diving at Catalina Island, shot a fish, fought with it, got dragged into a bunch of corals..... I know, I know, should not have touch any coral but when a big @$$ fish dragged you around, an't much you can do about it.... anyhow, surfaced and noticed my Timex surface was scratched to heck.
So be warn. don't wear timex dive watch and shoot fish at the same time ;)

Mine's the same way. Looks OK under water, though.
