Looking at the titles of other Scubaboard clubs (on the first page of board), most have some kind of catchy name. Only one or two have a basic name like "Arizona Divers".

Maybe if we look at the names others hae used, we can broaden our thoughts in the subject...or just go with Japan Divers after considering a few options

Or we could just go with my personal nightmare...
Japan, Last of the Samurai, Tom Cruise lookalike Divers

Jim, what are the names of the dive clubs?

Remember "Samurai Divers"?

Maybe we should have "Bushido Divers"?

P.S. Sorry, "Zen of Diving" is already taken as the Mar Scuba trademark.

LOL.

- Japanese Fugu Followers?

- Tom Cruise - no, no, no - (maybe Britney Spears!!)

Hey Matt
The other names are on the first page of scubabaord, at the bottom.

I like your trademark. Zen divers has some appeal. Brings for the whole image of calmness and boyancy.

Zen Divers...we float like Buddha

Fugu Finatics Japan...but that infringes a bit on my diving clubs name "finatics", though they might not mind...

A scuba haiku:

Wet blue deep
calling us downward
sushi zoo

:)

I quite like it but I don't think it's a true haiku -
True haiku (according to my wife)
5 syllables
7 syllables
5 syllables

Such as,

Wet blue deep water
calling us ever downwards
sushi in summer

However even top haiku writers broke the rules (Basho) occasionally - so I can live with the original - it's nice and simple :D

Yes, it's true. I took some liberties. I really just wanted to say "sushi zoo". But there are some haiku clubs that are now using the 3-5-3 format. I actually really like the simplicity of 3-5-3. But, alas, a haikuist I am not. My first attempt, and maybe my last.

... but I did get to say "sushi zoo".....
