This guy was unbelievable.
One of the first Posts from SSIdiver O2, dated 10-22-2002. Now remember that his credentials are numerous and keep in mind just 9 days later he posts about his dive on the Doria.
Lessening the risks of a hit...
I am a relatively new diver, Im only 19, in good shape and dont smoke or drink .
Ive done 25 dives and never been bent. I realise that theres no way to make yourself "immune" to developing DCS, but is there anything that you can do, before/during/after the dive, that would significantly reduce the risk of developing DCS? We all know that drinking water before a dive and being well hydrated aids in the removal of nitrogen....what about other stuff that you can do? The fact that i might not be able to dive again from developing DCS makes me sick, and wish to prevent DCS at all costs! Thanks for your time.
Here is a great comment from someone that dove the A. Doria. Yah right. On his profile he listed DOB as 1961, how stupid did he fiqure we are?
Warmest wetsuit ceated?
This may stir up some contoversy, but what is the warmest wesui created? I would like to have a wetsuit, if possible, to dive in 40 degree water. So what do you guys think
Remember his qualifications are: TDI ERD, Advanced Deep Wreck, Advanced Cave Diver, Advanced TriMix diver, SSI Instructor, SSI Master Diver
He posted this question:
Does anyone know the physics on storing a full tank of air? Would there be any ill effects of storing a full aluminum 80cf tank (3000psi luxfer) for a week? Came up at a advanced dive class i was "speaking" at. A student asked the question, and the instructor said...."uhhhh i dont think so?" I have not studied the effects of having max pressure on a tank for a period of time, but i would like to answer this kids question tomorrow, seeings as he didn't get a real definitive one.
And this one
would anyone...
Would anyone here ever dive the U-Who? For anyone that doesnt know (ha ha yeah right), its the mystery U boat that chris and chrissy rouse died trying to solve. Albeit the mystery is solved, i would be interested to see the wreck.

And followed with this:
I dove the doria a while back....for anyone thinking of doing it......DO IT!( if you have the training) It will be an experience you will never forget. Must warn you about a couple things.
1. it is EXPENSIVE, try to go in a group, its cheaper. Im planning another trip this summer.
2. The dish room is a lot harder to find then expected.
I urge all who have the training to dive this wreck, but be careful.
And Both threads ended when Lady diver had to intervene with this comment:
This Thread...
Portions of this thread have been deleted due to their harassing nature and uncalled for personal attacks. Those of you doing the bashing know who you are and I know all of you have been on Scuba Board long enough to know this kind of attack is not allowed. Do not let it happen again.

I only wish I could get access to the deleted posts!!
