Ye it was one of those perfect storm type situations, king high tides + big swell = mother nature kicking out butts!

Oh boy we will be around the 6-7 July!! Hope there is not a big swell running for the next big tides.

If anyone else has specific updates from Tulamben/ Amed it would be great to know. Last year at almost the exact same date the area got hit by some larger than normal waves and all the critters scattered. The guides were having troubles finding where they had all gone.
 
Just got back from Bali. Stayed at Seminyak for few days before returning. Waves were around 5-7 feet. Nothing intimidating. Just one of those once in a blue moon, where everything is aligned events.

Have not heard much of anything regarding diving. Checked out Crystal Divers while I was there but no mention of anything.
