Tickbox you prevent necroing/resurrecting old threads accidentally

On this board anyway I see thread necros often leading to useful new conversations, so i don't see it as a problem, especially when it is someone new with the same problem the last guy had.

So just to be sure: I don’t think that we should block posting on old threads, we just want a way to notify before replying so that it’s not accidental.

I agree, but it should be a conscious decision, both for the re-animator and those that respond to it. Sometimes a new thread might work better, and sometimes the reviving comment isn't worth restarting the thread over.
