Thanks for the report. I am just getting ready to take off and was wondering what the conditions looked like.

See everyone there.:)

See you there and your welcome. I hope things dont change to muchbetween then and tonight

Thanks everyone for the dive.

I wish we would have seen the pinnacles. It would have been helpful to have some vis. If anyone figures what the floating red gunk (how's that for identification) was let me know. One day I'll see the pinnacles!

During my drive home I was amazed that the five of us were never were separated. There were times I could hardly see my compass and everyone stayed together. That alone made it an amazing dive.

The floating red gunk was more then likely a red alge bloom. but any how. it was a good dive with only 6" of vis at times. there was one time when we stoped that it opened up and i could see every one clear as day. Some of the things we saw where: Purple globe crabs matting, pipe fish, red rock crab, lobster that we droped down on, some shrimp, some perch, what looked like a black and yellow rock fish hard to tell in the vis, some brown blob things that come out of the ground, sea pens, swimmer crabs, torpedo ray, oh and a sam, rich, and 2 kevins. I think that i got it all i was supprised that we saw that much stuff in that bad of vis. and once again it was aswome that all five of us stayed togeter during that dive and did not get sepprated. there where times when i could not tell where if i was on the side, above or below rich because all i saw was tank lights and a shadow of his arm with the light shining on the compass. Thanks for the aswome dive.

Yep, that sums it up nicely...

Nice meeting you Kevin. Thanks for no photos Sam :D . Rich, thanks for taking the lead, you did great. Erika, it was good seeing you again, you bring great energy to every dive.

Who said anything about making us feel young... you make us feel tall:D

Glad you all had a safe dive it sounds like you made the best of not so good conditions. As happy as I was sitting on my couch watching tv I am sorry I missed it!

Hey Rich don't feel bad I've dove there 3 or 4 times & haven't seen the pinnacles yet.

Thanks John, I'm hoping dive 4 is the lucky one. I know I'm within 30 feet but the vis has been bad and I just can find it. Frustrating, but fun like a treasure hunt. Thursday night we hit a wall of red muck at 25fsw, I couldn't hardly see my compass so I hoped for the best and headed NW hoping the vis would improve some luck would arrive. I've been told the sites traverse West but that wall of red muck made it impossible.

Sounds bad but I really had a good time. Nothing like a challenge to get me pumped.
