Got the truck packed, getting ready to leave for Flint. Why would anyone drive to Flint you ask? Well it just happens to be the home base for our very own Mr. Ted Bristol. I will be riding north with him to do a little wreck diving on Saturday morning in Alpena.

Consider this a place holder for Ted's trip report.

I think since Natalie (gnats) put this trip on she should do the trip report.

I wish I knew you were going! I love Thunder Bay. If you get to site #6 the "Wood Schooner Barge" in 45', take a look on the port side forward of the crossed pipes near the bow for the remains of a wooden wheel barrow. It is tucked way back under the bulwarks by the hull. The hull may have collapsed in on it by now, but it is a nice piece if you can see it.

We were up there in July and dove the E.B. Allen, the Grecian and Barge #1. My favorite was the Grecian's stern lots to see! I just look up the NOAA weather and they are calling for 2-4 ft waves, sounds like FUN!

E.B. Allen, the Grecian stern one dive and bow the other and the Oscar T. Flint.

I agree with the take on the Grecian stern. The anchors on the Flint were pretty cool too.

C'mon, Give us more heads up so we can show y'all some Alpena hospitality!!!

I kept my eyes open for the traditional SCUBA stickers on vehicles and didn't see any this last weekend.

Jeff
