DebbyDiver:
I'd rather talk about diving...when do you want to do a night beach dive? :blinking:

as soon as this ear infection from he11 goes away.

yet he post anyway hmmmm.
As I have stated I dove with Dixie divers last year 2 times and had a great time. This is why I brought my friends.
Dixie diver did honor the $40 price all refunds have been taken care of (Dan even got all of his money back).... this is a great price for a 2 tank night dive.
We all had a great weekend other then this event.
And yes a phone call would solve the entire problem ... The dive store has my number.
And I cant wait to see all of my friends in the Keys next weekend.
Well Justin did not have such a great weekend .... how is the ear?
Try to keep this boy out of the water this weekend so he can get well.... we all need friends like him ... willing to dive with ANYONE who wants to get wet.
Now you guys go dive and have fun ;)

Justin, feel better soon!!! Stay out of the water for a couple of days and get better so we can go beach diving!!!

There are just so many unknowns in all of this, even those of you on the boat may have missed something. Did the Capt. allow the gentleman to come up to the helm? Many Capts. do not, if this was the case on this boat, especially if they weren't outside the bridge yet, then it was not the Capt. who was belligerent, as this would be tantamount to someone climbing in your lap as you drive down the interstate.

As I said, mistakes were made on both sides, cursing and confrontation are not acceptable actions in today's society. I think people should see as much of the truth as possible and it is not fair that those who made the first mistake come on here and attempt to harm this business.

Dude of course I did not come up to the bridge without permission as I was still on the ladder as everyone on the boat has witnissed and heard when I asked permission to come up and give him the phone. Not only that when I called in to do this dive I was told 6 show 6:30 go... Capt Nick only left early to avoid a bridge closing and everyone on the boat has heard him very clear that he does not care about other divers at the shop and to the DM who earned his tips from the divers did a hell of a job. I am also still awaiting a phone call from the shop as well for that apology that I know will never happen....

Well thats all for me "Let the weekend begin and Let's go diving"......:lotsalove:

dixie divers and lady go diver let me right that down.

Even if both the situation at the dive shop and on the boat was completely disorganized, there's still no reason for the behavior of both the shop and the captain. The role of the captain and the manager at the dive shop is to create organization even when complete chaos is reigning. It is NOT to make a bigger disaster and be rude and abusive to boot.:shakehead:

Businesses and people have bad days all the time. How they handle those hurdles sets them apart. Handle it well and your customers sing your praises, maybe. Handle it poorly, as they did here, and any good prior experiences that a make customer may have had with them are pretty much forgotten!

I may never make it to that part of the country, but if I do make it to Deerfield Beach, Dixie Divers will not be on my list! I want a dive op that appreciates my business even on a bad day!:no
