KOA has Kamping Kabins (I think that's how they spell it) that are a sort of in between realm. I've stayed in quite a few of them while driving around the country playing tourist and they've been pretty good and cost much less than a motel.

Whatever you do, it sounds like you've got plenty of fun planned!

Yeah, I have a KOA Value Card so my tent stand with electricity works out around $28 per night which I'm really happy about. I just noticed that January's Wrinkles dives are at La Jolla also and both my wife and I are planning on attending if our schedules permit. We're definitely looking forward to having a lot of fun! :coffee:

I've got one of those cards too. When you are in a pinch and just need a place to pitch a tent, it works out nicely!

I hope that you and your wife can attend the Wrinkles Dive in La Jolla. We always have a great time and it's a very welcoming group.

We've been frothing to join in on the Wrinkles dives but our studies have just kept us a bit too occupied this year; January's dives is still early enough before assignment deadlines, tests and exams can tie us down, so as things stand right now we're definitely going to be there. :coffee:
