Not coconut nova... it is coconut milk... rather the thickened coconut cream that he is talking about. Very tasty and it adds zero fiber... which is what the Navy tables were disallowing.

OneBrightGator:
And that spoon better be milled from a single continuous piece of Delrin...

I tried one of these, but in black it's hard to tell what soup and what isn't on the thicker dark soups.
I surprised that UP hasn't been advising using zip ties to the bolt snaps. My spoon while in white is strictly attached with cave line.

Uncle Pug:
I use zipties to hold the bungee loop to the SS spoon.

Well you could just run the bungee through the hole in the spoon and not worry about another failure point.

novadiver:
It seems like the coconut in the curry would violate the U.S navy soup tables, can you post fraction used

Actually since you are at 20' you don't have to worry about soup toxing. While culinarily I would agree with you... as long as it was still soup and not chowder or stew then you are still well within limits.

NWGratefulDiver:
Surface intervals are for deco pills (donuts) ... :D

... Bob (Grateful Diver)

Bob - how many times do we have to go through this. Deco pills are a preventative measure to be taken before a dive. They are in no way related to soup. The last time I checked Krispy Creme wasn't making soup.

Uncle Pug:
OE2X... think of what fiber does. You still have some time hanging at 20'. Do you really want to be loading up on fiber at that point? hmmm?

Unless you have the intestinal fortitude of a Sea Gull then getting through the 20' and 10' stop shouldn't be an issue.

Uncle Pug:
That was the first generation SS spoon. The hole in the spoon let the soup through. Strange they hadn't thought of that before sending them out for beta testing!

I heard about those. Weren't they made somewhere in Florida and had to be recalled?

I got cheap and did mine DIY. Had to set up the drill press with a jig. Put the hole at the end of the handle and now the bolt snap sits in the palm of my hand. Have to admit you have something going with the bungee. I was think that I was going to start carring a B/U in my left pocket just incase I drop it.
