Vyper doesn't display seconds for stop times either, or in any other mode... Vyper is the same unit as Zoop/Gekko with some extra features 'unlocked'. Vyper Air has seconds I think

Thanks, I was told it did and the prior one I had did, but that was the Vyper III.

Been diving the VIPER for 4 years and have had no problems and has worked well for me.

I was recently given a NOS VYTEC DS with the transmitter. So far I like wireless air integration but the pairing with the transmitter every time you change tanks is a bit of a pain.

I still use the VIPER as a backup on my console and refer to it occasionally on dives.

I have two Vypers, like them for rec. diving

Pros - easy to read display, gauge mode, nitrox, affordable, robust, user changeable battery, download if you like that
Cons - pretty conservative but that doesn't really bother me, you have to buy an expensive proprietary cable for the download

I have the Vyper Air and have been diving it one year. Also recommend it. Note that my model came with the download cable. Also like the ability to set the RGBM back to 50%, but still is on the conservative side. It suits my diving style.
