Don't have one, have lots of friends who do or did.
It's a good strobe - might be able to find one second hand.
I don't think it will move with you to a synch cord system in the future.

I have been shooting one for the last few years. I like it, small with plenty of power and has a wide adjustment range. It has been discontinued for a couple of years, the D2000 took it's place. It is fiber or slave synched.
