helo everyone...
now that I have figured this board out I thought some of you might like these:
http://kwic.dyndns.org:88/day-1-9/big.html
they are all taken with a small cheap cannon digital with a plexi housing, the first bit is from before I knew what any of the buttons did, so they are very small, as you go on however I get somewhat better at it and they get MUCH bigger, there are a lot of thumbnails so it can take a while to load...

the pages sort of suck as I havent had time to make them into something nice but I will soon.

Cheers

they are all from 9 dives on the reef off the coast of Key West.
there are sevral sites, 9 foot stake, the grand cannyon at sand Key, eastern dry rocks, western sambos, and rock key.
taking these was a total blast!

have fun!

Do you know what kind of Canon? [I ask because I just picked up a canon digital and will be getting the housing soon].

Where did you find the housing?

Mark

however it was made by Canon, the one I have isint being made anymore but my friend AL got one for a somewhat newer camera (also canon) from ebay...
Canon seems to make housings for only its most current stuff...

i'm sure you have some very good pictures on your site but it takes so dam long to load i gave up!

a small tip for you, split the pictures over several pages:

Key West
Dive Site 1
Dive Site 2
Dive Site 3
etc. etc. etc.

that way you may get a lot more visitors to your site, and actually stay to look at them.

check my site out to see what i mean, because on some of my trips i have taken quite a few and some of the trips were as long as 5 weeks, so doing it your way would take all year to load.

you might want to cut the actual picture size down to 640 x 480 and use a web graphics compression tool, they don't spoil the picture much, but can reduce them by an amazing amount.

if people want copies they then have to ask you for the full size/res version, and you have some control over where they go.

hope this helps
