Well since we blew it last weekend, who wants to give it another shot this weekend? We won't have to get up nearly as early. It will be a nice afternoon dive.

Dual Wrecks

High slack is around 1:22 on Sat and 2:20 on Sun. So we'd probably want to be in the water by 1:00 Sat or 2:00 Sun.

Belmar would be about 10 minutes earlier each day. Also for Dual Wrecks, I recommend getting there about 1.5- 2 hours ahead of time. You have to carry gear pretty far, and it's pretty good walk on the beach too. You really need to allow time to take a little break in between, before jumping in.

Or if anyone wants, pick another spot.

Also the NJ Wreck Diver's flea market is Sunday at 10:00 AM at Toms River High School. That would be something to do after maybe, so it isn't a long trip just to do 1 dive.

I am always game. Saturday would be better for me, though, since the tides are a little earlier in the day.

I was also thinking about calling Bainbridge to see if they were going to be open for non ice divers and, if so, trying to get in some diving there on Sunday. Anyone interested in that as an option?

Frank

Cool then let's make it Saturday. Times are posted, as I'm sure you probably agree 1 1/2 - 2 hours ahead of time is best. So if anyone else is interested just be there at that time.

I'd do Bainbrige, but I kind of want to check out that scuba flee market thing. I'd never make it if I was diving out there. If we did the shore dive on Sunday I could do both.

Keep an eye on those water temps for me. As soon as they hit 50, I'll drive out for the next Jersey Shore dive!!!

Scott

I wouldn't be surprised if it's close to that already.
Even with the tiny bit of exposure we had last week it felt much warmer than Dutch, of course the air is a lot warmer now too.

Oh yeah and "You can't beat us!" 6 - 0. Sorry couldn't help it, we need something to be happy about every now and then!

Come to think of it...Sunday is actually going to be the better day for me to go to the beach. I'd love to go to Bainbridge on Saturday, too, if you're up for it. I will try to get a hold of someone at the quarry to find out if it is going to be open tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find out.

Enjoy your 7th season with no playoffs, and have fun watching half the team get traded away over the next two weeks

In all seriousness- The best thing that could happen for Ranger fans is if they trade 90% of the team away and spend a few years developing some young talent. They should have started in 1997.

I got word from the webmaster at BSC that he was told that this weekend was going to be ice only. So scratch that. I will start a thread sometime next week about going there 3/6 or 3/7.

Grunzster,

I'll give you a call tomorrow and we can finalize plans for Dual Wrecks, take two.

ScottyK,

How did the Isles lose six times to that team?? There are men's league teams that play tougher in their own end than the Rangers!

Yup! I'm just so happy I still have 2 games left. They should be a joy. At least we'll have fun screaming at old man Sather! He thinks it will stop now, not a chance, as long as he's still GM. Problem is they'll trade all the good players and keep the overpaid garbage.

As far as I'm concerned keep Mess (old as hell. but still our best scorer, and who better for the kids to learn from) and Leetch same reason, then Barnaby, Jagr (duh!), Blackburn if he ever heals, and a few of the other kids.

Problem is outside of Jagr, they'll trrade all those guys I named and keep ****ved, Kovacrap, Trollik, Concussion head, etc.

Frank Sunday works better for me too. Got some erands to run tomorrow and may be rebuilding my computer. I'll be there by 12:00 12:30 latest. Talk to you tomorrow.

I'm going flying tomorrow so if anyone would like to see the current status, via pictures, of Dutch Springs - I can do that.

I just don't want to flood ya'll with pictures you're not interested in.

I'm going to also post this in a new topic to get other opinions.

Ya'll have a safe dive this weekend and looking forward to diving with you. I would dive this weekend if I didn't already have flying obligations.
